Who does it suit?

Yesterday was Fathers Day but I was doing what I usually do on a Sunday morning… running with the Y 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

That’s me bringing up the rear in the photo above 😂

It was a long run too – 32 km. It’s the longest distance we do during a marathon build-up 🥵

On a 32 km run you have plenty of time to talk with other people in the pack. I ended up having a long conversation about investment property…

We started off talking about commercial property. She knew all about the higher yields and tenants paying all the outgoings and loved the idea of commercial property, but wasn’t confident about taking the plunge because of the knowledge gap.

She understood residential property investing but not commercial. Hence the lack of confidence.

Well, that’s what we’re here for!

Anyway, back to the story…

The conversation moved to her property investing. She owns a unit in Auckland that she bought for $760,000 and which gives her $20k a year.

She just about threw herself into the gutter when I told her about my two industrial units that cost $764,000 and make $58k a year.

That’s nearly triple the income for the same investment.

The only thing holding her back was lack of knowledge.

That’s the gap we fill.
